To the part of the youth who very well reacted to the ‘go green‘ movement, started wearing tee shirts delivering the message, started carrying paper bags, and then later who are seen commenting things like “enough of go green nonsense, id rather go plastic”. (So basically the part of youth who does it because it was cool, because it was hyped, and because it was a statement to make, and now who think the trend is passé)
Yes id agree that ‘evil’ seems waaayy too cool, but do not be drugged! ‘Perceive’ this reality we’r living in. Its not about being ‘cool’. It became a statement, then its going the other way round. But I would be a pinprick whose there to ruin your seconds of lonely-virtual happiness telling you flat in your face, that what you are doing is NOT COOL NEITHER. And then again, it not about being “cool”. Its not even about only you and me. I wouldn’t say any further if you are one person who doesn’t pay heed. If you are, I’m glad you do. Perceive the situation. Then appreciate the ‘go green’ movement, and then do your bit. That would be a true statement to make.
You like these plants? Well, get used to. They are all artificial.
PS. When did you last plant a seed?
Psychedelic art is any kind of visual artwork inspired by psychedelic experiences induced by drugs. The word “psychedelic” means mind manifesting. By that definition all artistic efforts to depict the inner world of the psyche may be considered “psychedelic”.
Here’s my contribution > Graphic Illustration :)
PS. Nope. Not on drugs. Just going by the description! :D
Good Morning :)
This phrase makes you (or at least tries to) make you feel good for the day. But on a day like the one that marked the end of exams, or when your scheduled to go home, or meet someone, or on a day that was long awaited for any reason at all, “Happy Morning” is a phrase that truly expresses the feel. Im not sure if i am ‘inventing’ a phrase but who cares! the day my 7th semester exams got over, i said this ..and it felt good :) Only thing, say it to people who are in a similar level of ecstasy or who truly understand your happiness, for them to relate to it and understand. Feel it from the heart and say it! You’ll like it :)
eg. If u find yourself on a beach in the morning of a day before which you had some super hectic exams.. its a “happie morning!” ;)
May you find your “Happy Morning”/ “Happy Sunday”/ “Happy time” soon :)
There’s no “why” for somethings you do ;)
And if there still is, lets say this makes me happy :)
To the general youth of today,
(to the kids and guys who believe in or say stuff like “Attitude is everything”, “..n they call it my attitude”, “Iv got my own sh*t to deal with..” and stuff like that)
This is to question you about “Attitude” that is widely spoken (say seeked). The one which some consider annoying, but makes your way through, and makes you “cool”. What is this “Attitude”? How would you define this “Attitude” you are running after? As far as i can understand, this “Attitude” works in proportion to the “i dont care” (or- “whatever”) statement. The more intense “i dont care” you feel, the more “cool” you become, the more “attitude” you have. No? Think. Let me know if Im wrong. (which i accept i can be, but i really dont think so right now) Think of a person you consider has this “Attitude” and fit him in the previous lines and analyze.
Is this what you want? Is this worth running after? I write this because i want you to know both ends, and then decide for yourself. Now I’m certainly not implying that attitude is a bad thing. All I’m saying is that you may chose to have a good one.
The definition of Attitude, according to me, is different for every individual. (if you consider every individual to be different) Or at least for those who are not imitators (that way you anyway dont have that “attitude” your imitating) Attitude is the way you respond to anything/everything/any situation. That is indeed what defines who you are. Then is when “Attitude is everything” holds its true value. The choices you make, the decisions you take, how you respond, make you who you are, and what you will be known for. For me it can be laughing along with the world, when its laughing at me. It could be taking a stand against the entire world, if I think I’m favoring whats right. Its when I truly know myself.
Wisdom is being down to earth. Attitude is achieving it without falling on your knees.
Few day back (remember i was talking about a friends birthday) while i was in Delhi, a lot of friends gathered at Ujjawal’s place, partly due to convocation, partly due to his birthday.. Well “they” (since i am not into cooking) planned to cook and party at his place itself.
And for those who were wondering why “Egg” was my status on Facebook (it was, for those who do not know :P ) That’s because they asked “Whats on ur mind?” and that day they were preparing egg -something for soo many of us! soo many eggs! so many ideas!! ..n before they crack :D (all were dying to eat u know!) ..and today i thought of preparing it as a post ..hence the status update.
Anyway, here’s what :)
Yeah, eggs get real scared by ..u know..what is going to happen to them! :D (if ur an egg, i shouldn’t be laughing!)
And yes that one in the pic above IS ironman egg :D
i guess i should let this one go.. ;)
Its amazing how many times you have gone through something, and yet it remains unnoticed. Recently i realized it could be a good idea to upload photos from day-to-day life which have some colors which would otherwise go unobserved. “Color board” in Design Language :)
For color understanding goto previous post: https://flutterhead.wordpress.com/2010/11/13/pantone-color-matching-system/
i ♥ window seats (Especially if i have my camera along!) :D
I was thinking of starting a series of posts which would showcase a photograph with good color references. But then i thought its better to talk about color n its reference systems first. I’ll talk about Pantone Matching Sstem as it is more widely used now-a-days than the CMYK and RGB referencing systems. I mean yes they were easier for our printers, but now this is it. We can refer to pantone chips anywhere and they are constant and do not depend on your printer’s configurations or ink quality. That doesn’t remain the headache of the color provider. ok lets talk.
The Pantone Color Matching System is largely a standardized color reproduction system. By standardizing the colors, different manufacturers in different locations can all refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match without direct contact with one another.
For easy color specification, Pantone has established a practical way to identify color. Each color has a unique location in the System’s color space, which allows the shade to be precisely defined.
A six digit number assigned to each color defines that location, while each set of digits has a specific meaning.
TPX is Textile color on paper, and
TCX is Textile color on cotton. So if ur looking at graphics (and not tee shirt dying) then TPX it is.
PS. The chip color (17-1664 TPX) may not be exact. This is just for understanding. Also, this post is just for educational, non-commercial purpose.

What to do for a surprise on a Birthday for a friend who is not at home and who is a typical guy with a messed up room?
Tidy the room up for a child-like birthday party and prepare for some good time (which includes cleaning up too!) This was also special because it happened a few days back when i was in Delhi, most of us college friends turned up after quite a while for our convocation. “Child-like” was one of our friends idea (which worked out well) :D
Well, cleaning the room was not easy *shudder!* :/ And those speaker’s wires across the room! *pant! pant!* :P
i discovered two spray cans (which were his only! i finished them too ..but he wouldn’t mind ..i guess) :P and we arranged for a useless carton. Then looked for one of his pictures i would like..
Then making rough sketch and making stencil..
And then spraying..
..and then you focus on chilling ;)
Deepavali (or Diwali) is the Festival of lights. It is an important festival in India occurring between mid-October and mid-November. For Hindus, Diwali is one of the most important festival of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes, which majorly includes putting up lights candles all over the place and bursting crackers after the traditional prayer.
According to Hindu mythology, Diwali commemorates the return of Lord Rama along with Sita and Lakshman from his fourteen-year-long exile and vanquishing the demon-king Ravana. In joyous celebration of the return of their king, the people of Ayodhya, the Capital of Rama, illuminated the kingdom with earthen diyas (oil lamps) and burst crackers. It symbolizes the victory of good over evil as we light the moonless night with lights. (yes, its always moonless -that i now realize i forgot to mention!) It is also the new year in Hindu traditional calender.
This year on 5th Nov, was Deepavali. I was in my hometown, Lucknow. And if you wish to know the craze of this festival in India.. Satellite view of Indian subcontinent on a Diwali night “Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) portrayal of the subcontinent of India, which superimposes night lights on a daytime background image; the cities show up in light yellow”
And Locally, it looks like this (more or less) :)
…and more cRaCkErS…
My friend was grateful enough to allow me to put this (overhead) pic up on my blog. Thanks a lot Tanmmay.
